I went to a birthday party

but I remembered what you said.

You told me not to drink at all,

so I had Sprite instead.

I feel proud of myself,

the way you said I would,

that I didn't choose to drink and drive

though some friends said I should.

I knew I made a healthy choice and

your advice to me was right

as the party finally ended

and the kids drove out of sight.

I got into my own car,

sure to get home in one peace,

never know what was coming,

something I expected least.

 

Now I'm lying on the pavement.

I can hear the policeman say,

"The kid that cause this wreck was drunk."

His voice seems far away.

My own blood is all around me,

as I try hard not to cry.

I can hear the paramedic say,

"This girl is going to die."

I'm sure the guy had no idea,

while he was flying high,

because he chose to drink and drive

that I would have to die.

So why do people do it,

knowing that it ruins lives?

But now the pain is cutting me

like a hundred stabbing knives.

Tell my sister not to be afraid,

tell Daddy to be brave,

and when I go to heaven to

put "Daddy's girl" on my grave.

Someone should have taught him

that it's wrong to drink and drive.

Maybe if his mom and dad had,

I'd still be alive.

My breath is getting shorter,

I'm getting really scared.

These are my final moments,

and I'm so unprepared.

I wish that you could hold me, Mom,

as I lie here and die.

I wish that I could say

I love you and good- bye.

I think this will be my last post for this week or so, I won't be around that much. I really have to concentrate my time preparing for my NA licensure exam and my other class is about to start in Sn Diego City College next week. I would still be around peeking on my blogs though.

 Want to add smilies to your cbox? Here's how to add other smilies or even yahoo messenger emoticons to your cbox, those are the emoticons I have on my cbox on the left side of my blog.  ( I love YM emoticons). Just do the steps:

1.Log in to your cbox account if you already have one. Register for a free account if you haven't registered yet.

2.Go to 'Smilies' on the navigation bar on the left side. Now you can see all the cbox smilies in there.

3.If you 'just' wants to add smilies or yahoo messenger emoticons click the button "New Row" on the bottom and it will add a new room for the new smily that you want to add. Each new row have a three blank boxes, the third one is the longest and this is for the URL of the smily or emoticon.

4.Copy the URL of the smily or emoticon you want to add and paste the URL on the third space of the new row this is the longest blank box). If you want to add the yahoo messenger emoticons there's&nb sp;a link on the left side of the blog under "My Links" and it will open a new window.

5.On the very first blank box of the new row, write a name for the new smily or emoticon you've just added starting with colon : or semi colon ; For example, the new smily you've just added is a sad smily or emoticon, write it as :sad: or :happy: for a happy smily. Look at the original cbox smilies how it done and make those as guides if your a little confuse.

6. On the second blank box of the new row, write a command for your new smily or yahoo messenger emoticon. Example, the command for *big grin*  smily is :D and the command for *sad* is  :(

Note: You always ahve to put a colon : or semicolon ; on each command to work.

7. "Save" changes. The smilies or yahoo messenger emoticons you've just added will show up on your cbox. You dont have to copy the code and paste it again on your website or blog.Now, if you want to delete a cbox smily and replace it with a new one, here's how;

1. Log in your cbox account.

2. Go to "Smilies," click anywhere in the URL box of the smily you want to replace, 'right clck,' 'select all' and delete it.

3.Place the URL of the smily or yahoo messenger emoticon that you want to replace on it.

4.Do the same on the first box, delete the smily name and replace it with a new name ofr the new one you've just added.

5.Delete the command on the second box too and replace it with a new command for the smily or emoticon you've just added.

6."Save" changes.

Ok, first time I've been tagged, yay! This is exciting. Ok, I've answered LadyG in my testimonial but I think I have to edit it so tbloggers can read it easily.... and make it in paragraph form like Kurt's post, I dont want to lost you guys looking on where did I posted the 5 things.

1.I'm secretive. I may be funny to my closest friends, but sometimes they dont even know when I have a problem or not. It's just I'm used to keeping most of it to myself, maybe because a friend of mine lost my trust when were in Elementary school, or equivalent to Middle school in U.S. *that girl* she told my secret to our classmates! yay! Since then I kept most of it to myself.

2. I'm interested in the paranormal. I've been surfing to the web, and joined an online paranormal community on ezboard. (",) I'm scared of ghost, but i do believe in them. I had a few paranormal experiences, my first one is when I'm 11 year old.

3. I'm scared of the dark. I dont know why I am, specially when I was a kid, I usually sleep at night with the lights on, and my mom doesnt like it. I always wakes up at night during brown outs, (back in the Philippines). I dont know why, and someone said, I maybe trapped into a dark place in my past life... ?(I dunno)

4.I'm a silent type of person. I dont talk I lot, but I enjoy listening to my friends chit chats. I still remember my relatives would tell me I'm shy, specially my uncles and aunties, but I just dont like talking a lot.

5. I like to draw... before, . I love to draw when I was a kid, and still now sometimes. It's just I lost my interest when I was in high school because some of my classmates draws better than I do, Im kinda discourage I guess. But somehow, sometimes I missed holding the pencil, so on those times yes, I still do, grab a notebook and a pencil. (",)
