Here's some blinkies I've made ^.^ These blinkie templates are from BlinkieBee and I used Online-Image-Generator for putting text.
Aren't they cute ?! ^.^ I made some litterings for my real name, my bro and his girlfriend, and to mom and dad. Putting some text on these already animated blinkie template is awesome. It's just time consuming, but it's fun! Just glad there's these blinkie template already made to put text into, so I don't have to have Paint Shop Pro and other stuffs required o animate graphics.
I'd be making more If I feel of making some again. If you want to make your own blinkie too, you could just visit BlinkieBee website. And I've put the website's button below so you could just click it if you want to take a look around and try blinkie making ^.^
Enchanted Nature has been redesigned. I've changed its background to a more eye appealing style ^.< I've also put a new update box, got rid of some stuffs and hide it on my storage page, and had added new cbox emoticon/smily codes for cbox. I'd be adding more cbox emote codes as I got the time, most of it are kaoani's. So for those looking for cbox emotes, you can visit Enchanted Nature, these codes are already ready to be paste on your cbox by logging in to your cbox account.
To visit my Enchanted Nature place, the portal is open by clicking the banner below. ^.^
Now this blog entry is a tutorial for blank banners 468 x 60. I've made a previous post the other day titled Animating An 88 x 31 Button which you can read if you're looking for a tutorial on how to animate an 88 x 31 button.
Now, on animating a banner size 468 x 60.
1. Go to the site Online Image Editor ( <== click it and it will open to a new window.)
2. On the site, click on UPLOAD. You suppose to have a blank banner already saved to your desktop, which you will about to upload now. I'll use the blank banner below for the tutorial.
3. Click UPLOAD to upload a blank banner on the online image editor website. Once you have uploaded it, click on the capital letter T above to add text on the banner.
Select what font, size, and color you wanted to use on your text then click PREVIEW. You can drag the text on where you want it to appear on the blank banner by putting your cursor over the text, hold onto it, and drag. Click APPLY when you're satisfied on your text.
4. Now, click on EFFECTS and choose START STARS WIZARD.
5. You will then be directed to a group of stars with different colors and twinkling styles. Choose what you want and drag it on where part of the banner you want it to appear.
6. Click on CREATE MY ANIMATION when you're done.
7. Here's the banner now.
8. Right click on it to save it on your computer. And you can upload it to free image hosting such as Photobucket or Imageshack.
A banner is use to represent your website or blog. Like an 88 x 31 button, you can also use the banner if you want to plug your blog/site to plugboards, submit it to topsites, or blog directories.
(Credit for the blank banner I used goes to Heleca .) Heleca website has lots of blank banners 468 x 60, however, the website mistress would want you to link her back if you use any of her creations. Her blank banners are to be use for private purposes only.)
Glad I brought my umbrella with me, although I'm having a second thought while waiting for the bus to get back home for the umbrella (bus stop is about 10 - 20 steps away from our house) so I followed this inner voice telling me I should go.. and glad I did ^.^
When we arrive at school our instructor wasn't there and we had a nice substitute instructor.. and we had an exam tomorrow. But we didn't really use the time to study. How could something stick to your head if people around you are chatting and some are laughing? Likely you would listen to them or laugh with them too, loz.. and that's what happened >.< And it's raining outside and so cold when we went out for a break!!
Then? Yeah, at 6:30 pm the substitute teacher told us we could go home..... And then we went to see the Lady of Fatima, our classmate said the Lady of Fatima came from Spain but the Lady's here in California for a visit, so we went there to see here and there's a lot of people on the St. Pius Church (on Chula Vista) despite of the rainy weather.
For those living around San Diego who wanted to see the Lady of Fatima, her next stop would be on St. Rita, here on Euclid in National City on January 27. And that would be this Sunday.
This tutorial is step by step. As long as you would follow you will be fine and hopefully won't get lost on the steps. You don't need a software or any experience on graphic design or something to animate a banner or button.
(Before you do the steps, you suppose to have a blank button saved on your desktop.)
For this tutorial, I'll use this blank button for the example.
STEPS ON ANIMATING A BUTTON:
1. All my blog and site buttons are animated from the website Online-image-editor.CLICK HERE to go to the website. It will open to a new window so you don't have to leave this tutorial.
2. On the website, click on UPLOAD to upload your blank button from your desktop.
3. Once the blank button was uploaded, click on the capital T, beside the scissor icon.
Choose the font, text size, and color then type the text you want to appear on your button. Then click "preview." You can drag text to position by pointing and holding on your mouse over the text on the button.
4. Click APPLY when you're satisfied on the text position. Then SAVE the button on your desktop by right clicking on it.
5. NOW WE HAVE TO REPEAT STEP ONE. CLICK ON FILE, OPEN TO DOWNLOAD THE SAME BLANK BUTTON AGAIN.
6. Click on the capital T once the blank button was uploaded.
7. Again, select the font, size, and color of the text. Type whatever you want to appear on your blank button on the text area.
8. Click PREVIEW. Drag text to position you want. Then click APPLY.
9. SAVE the button on your desktop by right clicking on it.
10. Now we're ready to animate the buttons. Click on EFFECTS and choose START ANIMATION WIZARD.
11. Click on BROWSE to upload the buttons you made, one at a time.
12. Then click on CREATE MY ANIMATION. The button will then be animated.
13. SAVE the button to your desktop by right clicking on it.
14. You can host it to free hosting sites such as photobucket, or imageshock.
USES OF A BUTTON:
Blog or site buttons are use on plugboards ( to plug your blog/sites), on topsites (where you can submit yor site or blog), and on link exchange, blog rolls, swap links, blog or site affiliates, etc. Also some blog or site directories are asking for banners or buttons for site submission.
Technology is really far now from the old days. On my thoughts, almost anything can be done online as of todays world. Searching online, sharing pictures, even researching on your class assignment can be done online ( if your teacher says you can, of course.)
But here's one amazing thing that can be done on the internet too, having your own online store. I've came across these online stores, and I think what's great on having a business store on the web is that, you don't have to be awake to keep an eye on your store. Website visitors can click their mouse's to see and order products. And there's no shop lefters either. But there's one thing I think is a pretty funny thought an online store and an actual store has in common is that both use a shopping cart!
For those merchants who had just opened their business stores online, you also might need shopping cart software for your business. There's this site Ashop, offering online merchants with a 10 day free trial of their ecommerce software/shopping cart software. If you would visit and search the site, you will read that you will get all you need. You can even browse the site for tutorials on building your online shopping store and a live sales and support, in case you will need help.
And if you were like me who likes to chat and having a chatbox on your site so your visitors can chat or leave messages to you (I have chatboxes on all my blogs) Ashop has a free live help online chat tool so you can chat to your store customers. How cool is that?! I think having a chat tool on an online store is really helpful for you to know on what your customers are looking at expecting your store to have.
Ashop shopping cart software will help you optimize your online business on search engines, which, if someone searches a certain product online they will likely found your online store on their search results. Also you might want to consider browsing their Ecommerce tips listed on the site. Some of the topics listed are very helpful for new online store owners such as planning, setting up, and promoting your site. Of course it is you to decide on what shopping cart software you have found to use on your online business, but since Ashop is offering a free trial of 10 days, I think it would be an advantage and a great chance to try and test their shopping cart software.
This day?! As usual, I have to ride the bus going to my carpools house. What I don't like ( and think other commuters too) is the fair. From $1.75 it went to $2.00, and that is per ride! Last year's fair ticket is $1.75 with a transfer ticket (with an expiration hour.) I miss this thing..... I only pay $1.75 fair last year for a ride, then the driver would give a transfer ticket which I'm going to use on the next bus that I'm going to ride. And tickets works until the expiration hour ( usually about 2 hours.) Now I have to pay $2.00 for every bus. I know the gas price went up again and that's why the fair change since January 3, what I'm wishing is, that ticket ^.^ at least they should still give a transfer ticket for $2.00 fair. > . <
This day, our last day at school for the week and Monday's Holiday. Still, I'm starting getting this nervousness everytime I have this thought that next week is our last week at school (for the Phlebotomy class, ROP Chula Vista) and we would be out there on the field for our interships..... alone. This thought is what I don't like. This is scary.. I wish, at least 3 or more of us (classmates) can do the internship together on one place. Eventhough the two would be on the lab and the one on drawing blood, or vice versa, this will help getting rid of the nervousness (even a little) knowing that I'm not alone being a newbie in there, who still needs to know lots of things. -- . -- Sometimes I got this thought "I should have been on the web designing class or graphic design." Lolz.
I just don't like the internship thought..... > . < Oh, teacher, could you just have your own hospital and train us in there, all of us in your class together??!! *grins* Those coming days.....
I've mentioned on my few past blog entries before that I love surfing online finding websites of my interest. What I love finding on site hopping? Sites on where to find cute, adorable clocks, cursor trails, counter, blank banners, websets, such things that won't easily show up when you search for them.
There's times when I do blog and site hopping where I would stumbled upon sites that sells products such as costumize graphics, and websets. Or mouse pads. Well, most or all of these online stores that I had came across had shopping carts available on their sites. I remember when I stumbled on this one site and I clicked on a graphic set that caught my fancy eyes and it says " Add to shopping cart?" Dang! I thought the thing is still among those free ones. I wonder how much the owners of these online stores make on their products? And is it worth the time?I also have two sites ( hosted on piczo) but haven't thought of hosting an online store on either one of it.
Well, for those planning on having the thoughts of selling products online, you might be looking for a shopping cart software that you wanted to use on your online store. There's this shopping cart software called Ashop that you might be interested on looking at.
I had visited the site and I think it is worth of your time too to drop by, search, and read about their ecommerce software and Ashop also provides all the things that you would be needing to start. They also have free technical assistance/support, hosting, email accounts and I had notice that they have live sales and support, so you can chat with a reprensentative, which I think is one good thing an online business suppose to have.
Not only that, Ashop also has tutorial movies on online store settings for those who had lots of how to's questions. If there's things that I would be interested to know, I think those are creating and designing gift certificates.
By the way, they also offer free trial for up to 10 days of their shopping cart software, and a free store design offer so this would be a great opportunity to give Ashop a shot.
I have planned to spend some of my blogging time too on my third Tblog blog, My Secret Garden . I think I would still be posting Philippine legends, folklores, talestales, and Tagalog tuturials on putting stuffs on blogs and Friendster profiles.
For those pinoys looking on Tagalog tutorials on how to put chatboxes on their profiles, I had just made a new entry about other chatboxes that works on Friendster (aside from cbox.)
To read the tutorial in Tagalog, just click the My Secret Garden banner below.
And it is new, I would also welcome other bloggers who wanted to swap links with me with a blog button of 88 x 31.
When it comes to doing some repairs at home, my mom's glad (and me too) that dad is always around to do the work. He said he'd learned it from our grandfather since my grandpa use to do carpentry works for a living. And this also what got my dad to work on construction with his friend Mr. H. They do roofing, gazebo's, painting, etc. and his pretty proud of their work.
There are also times that mom think if he would be interested on employment training in the construction area to learn more stuffs on the construction field since he likes fixing up things. As of these days, construction works are in demand, new buildings, condo's, town houses, are being built around our area.
There are also good construction informations that can be found on the web for those who got construction skills to expand their knowledge in a specific areas such as on roofing occupations, interiors, trowels, carpentry, and other related jobs. Also training and learning on a specific construction field of your choice is very important, so if you are planning to have a career on any of the construction areas mentioned, you just have to search and read the available info's you can find, either online or through friends who are already on the field, search which area are mostly on demand, benefits of the work, and the most important on every job, to know health and safety issues to protect yourself. You might also want to ask yourself if this is really what you want to do, then go for it, get a training and live the life of building our world.
Yes! welcome Friday.. tomorrow's the weekend again. I can halfly visualize people's smiles on their faces as they imagine weekend. But how does people really spend their weekend? I know people who loves to spend their weekend with their kids and other family members, a picnic on the park, but how about others who are consciously waiting for the weekend to drive to the nearest casino or to Las Vegas to play their favorite games?
Just on my suggestion, why travel hours and spend your gas going to casino to play while you can do it online. Here's a website I wanna share to those looking for online casino , PRO360.
PRO360 has the list of all the online casino's where you can play online, so you don't have to search gaming sites yourself, it's listed already on the site and is reviewed, so yeah, you can say " the best of the best" only of onlie casino's are the ones listed on the site for the top 20. You can visit each of the online gaming site and select which online casino you wanted to play in, whether you want to play with the most voted casino by players, or casino's with best bonuses, you could all find it in there. There's also a FAQ section and Beginner's Guide To Online Gambling, and Tips that you can browse on the PRO360 site, which I think would be appreciated by beginners.
So for today's technology, surely even gambling can be done at the comfort of your own home. There's a lot of online games you can play on the site, online poker, slots, roulette, blackjack, craps, etc. Most of the websites listed on PRO360 requires downloading a software to be able to play in the site. If it comes to playing slots online, there is a site specifically for slots game SlotPlus.com, you can see it listed on the site which you have to download a free software, and has a 24/7 support.
Why drive to Vegas, while you can play online? There's a listed site on PRO360 called LasVegasUsaCasino that offers a $500 welcome bonus and like other casino's listed on the site, LasVegasUsaCasino also offers a 24/7 support, and a free software to download. When it comes to downloading software, I got second thoughts sometimes, so make sure to read the FAQ section or Terms of Service of each online casino's that you want to play in.
So this is one of my lucky days ^.^ Chanter's Blog Place application to Smorty had been now accepted. And its really cool to be part of one of the known get paid to blog sites.
To be part of Smorty you have to submit your blog for approval before you can work for the site as a blogger to review advertisers products and websites with a link back to the advertisers site. Another good thing about this is, bloggers doesn't have to endorse the product, just write an honest review about them.
I have search and got into other bloggers blog ( which also a member of the site) and had most of these PTB bloggers are also a member of Smorty. PTB or paid to blog is now one of the best ways to monitize a blog. Blogging can also be a good help for students and stay at home moms to generate money at home (if not enough for a living at least will help pay for some stuffs such as for gas, a little grocery shopping, some bills, etc.) It wouldn't be a wonder if in some few years there would be a blogging class for those bloggers wanna be and for blog advertising related topics.
Smorty accepts International member, it doesn't matter on where part of the globe you are as long as you have a blog, you can submit it to Smorty for a review and once you got accepted, you can start to blog for money .
Everytime I'm interested to a website, I always check for their FAQ section and you bet, I've read the site's FAQ section, and what I've read that I like about the site is that bloggers will get paid on a weekly basis via Paypal. So bloggers don't have to wait for the next month to get paid for the previous month's approved posts. Also bloggers can submit as many blog as they have, no restrictions on how many blog you can submit. So if you are looking for ways to monitize your blog, make sure to try get paid to blog sites. On my experience, it's the easiest way to earn money online from blogging. If you are a new blogger, develop your blog, try to post at least 2 - 3 times a week and submit your blog to search engines. And if you are already a blogger ready to monitize your blog, why not submit your blog to Smorty and get paid to blog.
As I search the web for sources on bloggers source of online earnings, I haven't read those blogs that I got into talk about BAB (Buy A Blogger.) I don't know why, or probably they don't know about the site?!
BAB is another PTB site where a blogger could register for an account. The site says that they aren't like other PTB sites where the site get 35% of the bloggers earnings (because they introduce you to advertisers, somehow like that.) BAB says its free and they don't get % on bloggers earnings. Hmnn... I haven't tried this site before so I registered for a blogger account with this blog.
Also as you register, you don't have to wait for your blogs approval to BAB. All you have to do is register for a blogger account, set up your profile and wait for an advertiser to contact you for a blogging opportunity.
I've told on my blog post on the start of 2008 that I would be dividing my time on networking and blogging. I don't want my blog to be left behind again, like last year when I feel lazy to add more entries and got addicted on networking^.^ And that's what I'm doing now on this blog and on my other 2 blogs that I'm developing, trying to post 2 -3 times a week. And yesterday, I've submitted this blog for another PTB site.
Yeah, this site is SR (SponsoredReviews) its what this post title says. I did some research about all the PTB sites and so far, I like what I've read about SR from these other bloggers. Not like other PTB websites, SR let its bloggers to set their own price. Of course it has to do with your blog pagerank, Technorati, and Alexa ranking. So the higher the rankings of your blog or blogs, the higher you can choose your blogging price for site and product reviews.
The reason I've submitted my blog to SR is of course I wanted to monitize my blog more, and I wanted to try if SR is really what I've read from other bloggers blog entries. There are bloggers that earns $100 or more in a month with SR and for me, $100 or close to $500 / month earnings from blogging is great ( if ti's true). I also read this one blog where the blogger had earned $300 in 2 days from SR . Well, he must have been a problogger to earn that from SR alone. But if SR is what I've read on this bloggers blog then this site is worth a try for me.
I registered last night and had also read the sites FAQ section fro bloggers. The site pays on a bi-weekly basis through Paypal. What I've waiting for now is their email to see if my blog had been accepted or not. If I got accepted, I'd be sharing my SR experience in this blog and perhaps share some tips.
Good morning Thursday!! Just wanted to share some inspirational comments I found from the website Dazzlejunction.com . I'd be posting new blog entry probably tomorrow ^.^ For now, enjoy these inspirational comments I wanna share. You can share them too on your friends and sned them as comments to your Friendster, Myspace, Yuwie, Rotatrixfriends, Lazzeo, Narple, Hi5 and other networking sites you have joined.
A business for a new year?! Not a bad idea. I've read Sagitarrians can be good on business^.^but I don't think it's my path, just a thought though. But for those who have businesses, any kind of it, even online businesses, good luck. And hope that those clients will pay their debts (utang) to have a right start for the new year.
If you are an online business owner, online jewelry store, clothing, appliances, beauty products, etc. or if you have a graphic site that sells website layouts/templates, or lovely graphics, and you are planning on accepting credit cards on website for payments, you may want or need internet credit card processor.
Internet Credit Card Processor is use to process your customers payment through credit cards such as visa and master card. These will make it easier for your customer to submit their payment. Most, or I can say all of internet based business that I've browsed offers credit cards for payments, and you don't want to be left behind. This is not only for online based businesses, you may also use Credit Card Processing Services on your retail store business, hotel, bar or on any kind of business you have.
It's a new year again, a new beginning. It's our 3rd Christmas and New Year here in the US but I still missed the Christmas and New Year celebration in the Philippines. Life is more fun, and people are full of life and excitement when it comes to holidays like these as long as they were with their loved ones.
One more thing is, most people are living a normal life and farming is one source of living, like in provinces. I remember when I was there, I haven't heard life insurance or Family Insurance and haven't heard that any of our neighboors have any kind of life insurance for their loved ones. Most people don't want to think about deaths. People knows it will come, but as they living a healthy life, they are contented for what they have.
Living here in US, almost everyone has life or family insurance. It looks like insurances are part of having an American life. Is it? I could see insurance advertising on my way to school, on magazines, on yellow books, etc. Also I've noticed an American life, "work, house, groceries, work, house." People are so busy working, they don't even have time to relax and take a rest. Makes me think this kind of living could be a reason why people seems to easily get sick.
Also insurances can be seen available online. Good thing when you have a computer is you can search for life insurance that will suits you and your family and how you could save money on insurance . There are also great websites there that offers Insurance Quoting Services and are willing to help you decide what coverage you should select.
As my 2008 year start, I've also thought of focusing more on getting paid blogging instead of PTC and PTR sites (Paid To Read, Paid To Click) . It seems like there's more chance on monitizing my blog by blogging than PTC and PTR's, as I'm not good on referring people.
I started learning about earning through blogging last year, 2007, and I've earned and got paid a total of $68.00 blogging for two websites. I'm trying to catch up on posting new entries 2 - 3 times per week on this blog to get better and better and learning on dividing my time on blogging and networking.
Also I've submitted my blog to other sites, one of those is Blogsvertise.com . The site pays between $4 - $25 for every entry / post made but the payout rates also varies on the blogs traffic or popularity.
I think it is also a good idea that bloggers don't have to endorse products and websites and that bloggers can post an entry however they want it, on how it relates to their experiences and the way it will suit to our blogs style of writing.
Blogsvertise.com pays by Paypal and payments are made after 30 days the assigned tasks have been approve. Also if you have submitted your blog, it would be a good news too that your blog would be reviewed within 24 hours of submission. And if they would really review my blog within 24 hours, that would be great! I've submitted my blog to other sites and it have been more than a month and I haven't still heard from them.
I will keep you guyz updated if my blog have been approve or not ^.^ Happy New Year everyone!!
