This is a story about a rat I would call Ratty, who arrived from our home month of February.. We all think, mom, dad, and all of us thought that probably Ratty entered the house from the garage. My dad want Ratty dead. But since it was the month of February that we discovered that there was a rat inside the house, (February is when Chinese New Year is celebrated), and 2008 is Year of The Rat, and Rat was my Chinese Astrology sign, I told my dad that poisoning Ratty wasn't cool for me. And this year was Year of The Rat and that we could be getting a bad luck if we killed the rat, so he decided to, "okey, don't get Ratty killed by poison." So dad set a trap to capture Ratty. That was the plan, and we would just drop him somewhere. You know, that sticky trap where mouse would step into it and won't be able to get their feet off of it. The problem is, Ratty won't step into the rat trap. So dad, said his second step now to capture Ratty was to set a poison trap. BUT again, the rat didn't eat the poison. So dad, tried two different mouse trappings again that he made. BUT he didn't caught the mouse again. Days went by, and we got invited into my auntie's birthday and dad had told uncle about the ratty story. So uncle had lend dad his own mouse trap. But the rat didn't get inside of the cagey mouse trap. Ratty is still free roaming around our home at night! We even started having fun of the situation, making a joke that maybe the rat has a mind of its own. Ratty knows what's to eat and what's not. The rat won't eat the poison dad had set for it and the rat won't eat the food set on the trap. ^.^ The rat once stole a piece of bread on our dining table (while all was sleeping.) And what I enjoyed was, having a look at Ratty! There's this one night that I can't fall asleep, facing the close door I saw the "brainy rat" got inside my room! Lolz. Boy, I had fun that night, lolz. What I though was " So you're the rat my dad can't get his hands into. You're the rat that knows not to eat poison, and won't step into the rat traps." Ghee, Ratty was looking for food in my room. And he, (I would just call him he) was big, and had a long tail, with a dark, ashy color. And he has a very sharp ears. I frightened Ratty the first time he entered my room that night (I somehow got scared because the rat is really big) and he got scared, and bumped into the door. Ha!ha! Then, a minute later, Ratty came back again, still searching for something to eat inside. It was more than 7 times Ratty went back and forth in my room. I even got the idea of having a piece of bread in my room for him and watch and videotape him probably ^.^ Now, dad, is trying this other trap to caught Ratty. But it seems like its not working too ^.^ Dad falls asleep all the time. Ratty really is a brainy rat. I even told mom and dad that probably one of our neighboors in the townhouse is Ratty's owner.. just a tought though. Ratty haven't been caught until now..... his adventure continous.
