Juniper Bonsai ( How?)
03.16.07 (7:29 pm)   [edit]

Ok, I think my blog can help me to seek fro answer on how to take care of juniper bonsai.

I bought this cute, charming bonsai tree from wal-mart last New Year. When I bought it, it has little stones on the surface along with its soil.  I googled on how to 'really' take care of a bonsai plant, (juniper) and I've read that it was an outdoor bonsai, and I should get rid of the little stones on it.  And I didn't did it until last week when I noticed that its leaves doesn't look so good now.  Well, actually I asked my dad to transfer it to a bigger pot since he has a green thumb and I don't. I'm also using food plants for it now, the Green Green plant food.

And I was wondering now, if it's an outdoor bonsai why is it that those juniper bonsai I saw on stores for sale, such as that Asian store where I got the plant food and the bigger pots, and on Commissary this morning, those juniper bonsai for sale are so green, green leaves and it made me think, it wasn't on direct sunlight (it was inside the store) as an outdoor bonsai suppose to, but why is it so alive and green? How do they take care of those plants? Is it just the plants foods or there is other things I need to do for my juniper bonsai to grow, and regain its green leaves? Anynone knows how to take care of juniper?
