Now this blog entry is a tutorial for blank banners 468 x 60. I've made a previous post the other day titled Animating An 88 x 31 Button which you can read if you're looking for a tutorial on how to animate an 88 x 31 button. Now, on animating a banner size 468 x 60. 1. Go to the site Online Image Editor ( <== click it and it will open to a new window.) 2. On the site, click on UPLOAD. You suppose to have a blank banner already saved to your desktop, which you will about to upload now. I'll use the blank banner below for the tutorial.
3. Click UPLOAD to upload a blank banner on the online image editor website. Once you have uploaded it, click on the capital letter T above to add text on the banner. Select what font, size, and color you wanted to use on your text then click PREVIEW. You can drag the text on where you want it to appear on the blank banner by putting your cursor over the text, hold onto it, and drag. Click APPLY when you're satisfied on your text. 4. Now, click on EFFECTS and choose START STARS WIZARD. 5. You will then be directed to a group of stars with different colors and twinkling styles. Choose what you want and drag it on where part of the banner you want it to appear. 6. Click on CREATE MY ANIMATION when you're done. 7. Here's the banner now.
8. Right click on it to save it on your computer. And you can upload it to free image hosting such as Photobucket or Imageshack. A banner is use to represent your website or blog. Like an 88 x 31 button, you can also use the banner if you want to plug your blog/site to plugboards, submit it to topsites, or blog directories. (Credit for the blank banner I used goes to Heleca .) Heleca website has lots of blank banners 468 x 60, however, the website mistress would want you to link her back if you use any of her creations. Her blank banners are to be use for private purposes only.)
